The camera may love Mason Dash Disick, the son of Kourtney Kardashian and her boyfriend Scott Disick, but the 1-year-old's mom says it's time for her boy to take a break from the bright lights.
"You're not going to see Mason," Kardashian told People.com, regarding her new E! series, Kourtney & Kim Take New York. "Scott and I decided not to have him on the show this season."
Though Mason got plenty of airtime on the previous season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kardashian says she was "weirded out" having him on camera. "He can't make the decision if he wants to be involved in this craziness or not," she added.
Now that the taping of the new season has concluded (the show premieres on Jan. 23), Kourt is happy with the way it worked out.
"I think we made a good decision to leave him off the show because it was really crazy and really hectic any time we left the hotel," the 31-year-old mom said. "There was massive paparazzi, so we tried to keep him as protected as possible."
But if Mason is your favorite member of the Kardashian clan, all hope is not lost. The little tyke's mom says he may make a big comeback in the future.
"I think we'll take it season by season with Mason," Kardashian says. "We'll see how it goes and how we're feeling at the time."
