Michael Jackson's Michael Track Listing Reveals Akon, 50 Cent Collabos

Michael Jackson fans are eagerly awaiting the December 14 arrival of his posthumous release, simply called Michael, and on Friday (November 12), the album's official track listing was unveiled. Michael will feature appearances by 50 Cent and Lenny Kravitz, as well as a collaboration with Akon called "Hold My Hand" that's set to debut on Monday (November 15).
"Hold My Hand" will be Michael's lead track. According to an official announcement, Jackson had intended for the song to be the first official release off the album. His label, Sony, and the executors of his estate reportedly have a handwritten note from the singer in which he shares that wish. Another tune, "Breaking News," began streaming on his website this past Monday as a preview for the album.
An early take of "Hold My Hand" was leaked in 2008, but Akon says the version that appears on Michael is the definite one. "The world was not ready to hear 'Hold My Hand' when it leaked a couple years ago. We were devastated about it," Akon explained. "But its time has definitely come; now in its final state, it has become an incredible, beautiful, anthemic song. I'm so proud to have had the chance to work with Michael, one of my all time idols."
In 2007, Akon spoke to MTV News about working with Jackson on music, including "Hold My Hand." "Just to be in the same room [with him], I felt like everything I wanted to achieve in life had already been achieved," Akon said. "That's how incredible that aura [is]. We about to shake the world up, man ... You know how you be with somebody and you can't even explain [the feeling]? I used to always sit and wonder, 'How does somebody sell so many records and dominate a whole business genre to a point where nobody can't be a part of that without associating [with him]?' The way he thinks ... some artists think regional, some think national, I was thinking international, 'til I met him. He thinks planet. It's on another level."
The cover art for Michael was released earlier this month. The painting by Kadir Nelson takes fans on a fantasy ride through the greatest moments of MJ's solo career. MTV News recently decoded the Jackson images and references that make up the album art including several iterations of Jackson ranging from Thriller-era Jackson right through to the singer wearing a crown, an obvious reference to his moniker as the King of Pop.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner decided to stick around Los Angeles for Thanksgiving, spending the long weekend at home with Violet and Seraphina. The foursome went out to lunch together on Black Friday and brunch on Saturday. Violet carried her reading material for the outing, and the four-year-old's love of reading is something Jennifer wholeheartedly supports with her philanthropic work. Jennifer showed off the latest in her string of covetable bags, following up her black Chanel and Fendi Peekaboo with a Cartier cross-body. While Ben made his hot return to California earlier in the week, he has spent much of the Fall off shooting his Terrence Malick movie in Oklahoma. Taye Diggs Remembers Making Poop Song On 'When I Was 17'
'Private Practice' star recalls creating impromptu joint about feces on episode premiering Saturday at 11 a.m.

Taye Diggs has built a reputation as a Hollywood heartthrob, lighting up the screen in everything from "How Stella Got Her Groove Back" to "Brown Sugar." But when the actor was 17, he was less of a hunk and more of a ham, constantly cutting up with his friends.
"When I was 17, we were all performers. Wherever we were, we would always try to put on some kind of a show," he remembers on the latest episode of "When I Was 17," which also features Naya Rivera from "Glee" and NBA superstar Carmelo Anthony, premiering Saturday at 11 a.m.
"They were always, always making up songs and singing them and joking around," Diggs' brother Gabriel recalls.
One time, Diggs and his pals turned someone else's crappy luck into a catchy tune.
"I remember one time there was a fire drill, and me and my boy Shane saw this dude step in some dog doo," he says. "We laugh ... and then, right then, somebody drops a beat."
Shane recreates the beat, flapping and pursing his lips, before continuing the story: "Then [Diggs] joined in, "corn feces!"
"And then it just breaks into a whole song," Diggs recalls of the ditty's inexplicable development.
Then Shane breaks down the joint's loopy lyrics for viewers: "I was walking down the street, rocking to the beat/ Clapping my hands and stomping my feet/ Look at the ground and what do I see?/ Corn feces staring right at me. Corn feces!"
For Diggs, who was 17 in 1988, the impromptu, poop-inspired ode is still hilarious years later.
"Corn feces!" the star proclaims, clapping his hands and cracking up.

After Justin Bieber took home four trophies at the American Music Awards, including Artist of the Year, it was pretty clear that the music industry had caught Bieber Fever. And when MTV News caught up with some of the night's winners, nominees and attendees they all admitted that Bieber is the hottest guy in the game right now.
"I just think it's just insane kids are just Justin Bieber in-fevered," Taio Cruz joked to MTV News on the AMA red carpet. "And they love him, but they love us all, though."
Producer and songwriter Sean Garrett said Bieber is winning the guys over because he's won so many of the ladies over. "He just kind of came out of nowhere," Garrett said of Bieber. "He's excited. He's the youngest in charge, and he's definitely got the ladies."
Muse drummer Dom Howard confessed that, while Bieber is not a boy, not yet a man, he's still got that something. "Tonight he's won all the awards even though he's not quite a man yet," Howard said. "Boy of the year!"
Similarly, "Jersey Shore" star Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino said Bieber was the highlight of the show, thanks to his performance of "Pray." "You know what? Bieber's doing his thing," Sitch said.
For crooner Michael Bublé, it was about who was selling more — which he says is probably the both of them. "I'm better than everyone else, and also I'm humble and good-looking and smart and rich and humble, but really humble," he joked. "I don't know [who sells more]. I think it's probably pretty close."

Lady Gaga's Fragrance To Launch Spring 2012
Singer will serve as creative director alongside Haus of Gaga team in creating the scent for Coty.

From the meat dress to the disco stick, Lady Gaga has been known to introduce her share of inventive ideas. And in spring 2012, her monsters will able to share one of her more tangible creations, her fragrance line.
According to a press release, the singer has teamed up with global beauty company Coty Inc. to release the line. As with most Gaga originals, the project will be a collaborative effort between the singer and her Haus of Gaga design family. While it was reported last month that the fragrance would be called Monster, the release did not confirm the name.
"Lady Gaga's universal appeal makes her a subject of fascination," Coty CEO Bernd Beetz explained in the release. "A force like no other, Lady Gaga is explosive, provocative and sexy, three traits which pave the way for an extraordinary fragrance experience for consumers."
Though Gaga is joining a long list of other celebrities with their own fragrances, Beetz said that the team is aiming at marking new territories with this scent. "We welcome Lady Gaga to the Coty family and look forward to breaking boundaries that will allow people to experience beauty in a different and unique way," he said.
The marketing plans for the fragrance are still in development, but Gaga's "little monsters" can expect the scent to make a splash on the scene that differs from her pop-star peers. Coty marketing exec Steve Mormoris described the forthcoming campaign for the fragrance as "unprecedented and groundbreaking" and said he hopes to create a packaging design that encompasses the singer's "artistic sensibility." For those wondering what the deal is with Britney Spears' next album, her manager, Adam Leber, tweeted an update about the princess of pop's musical endeavors as she works on the follow-up to 2008's Circus.
"Brit is recording a big big BIG new song on Friday with #MaxMartin & @TheDrLuke. I'm pretty sure it's a smash!" he wrote. Leber recently said that the album would sound "progressive" and that ''it'll be a departure from what you've heard" in the past.
Dr. Luke retweeted Leber's message, as well as this update for all the Britney fans out there: "Please continue to wait 4 Britney's new song!!!!" Luke worked with Spears on her "Circus" track for her last album.
As for Martin, he and Spears have a long history of making music together, having worked on "3," "... Baby One More Time" and "If U Seek Amy."
"She's such an icon, I don't want to let anyone down," Dr. Luke recently shared about working with Britney, who is expected to release music sometime in early 2011. "But most importantly, I want to make good music ... I'm excited to be co-executive producing with Max Martin, the person who kind of invented Britney, and to make good music. And she's such an amazing vehicle to getting that music out to a lot of people in every country."
Spears has also hit the studio with producer Danja, who worked on her song "Gimme More." He explained, "I'm definitely gonna do my part and try to make it hard-hitting, up-tempo, high-energy. That's what I think we need and that's what I'm gonna shoot for."

And 50-year-old Dirty Dancing actress Jennifer Grey (can you bah-leeve this chick is 50??) copped the first place slot. Not mad at that at all--chick worked it out the whole season. She's now taking home the Mirror Ball trophy with her partner Derek Hough.

Justin Bieber has joined the ranks of stars speaking out against bullying. The 16-year-old American Music Award-winning singer recently spoke to talk-show host Ellen DeGeneres about his own bullying experience, and in an "It Gets Better" clip that debuted on DeGeneres' site on Monday, he urged his fans to take action if they see someone being bullied.
In the 20-second video, Bieber, wearing a black T-shirt and backward black baseball cap, says, "Hey guys, I'm Justin Bieber. I just wanted to say there's nothing cool about being a bully. And if you're getting bullied, make sure to tell someone and, you know, it gets better. And if you're a bystander, make sure to step in and, you know, help out."
The clip appeared to have been filmed during Bieber's appearance on DeGeneres' show earlier this month, when he discussed his own experiences with bullying.
"Everybody goes through bullying," he said on the show. "Everybody has, even me. On my YouTube page, there are so many haters. They just say crazy stuff. Like, I'm not mad, I'm 16 and I don't have chest hair. I'm not angry about it at the moment. That will come. People are like, 'Look at him, he puts helium in his voice before he sings.' You just have to laugh at yourself. It's funny." His appearance on the show came shortly after he was reportedly bullied while playing laser tag in Canada in October.
Bieber also had a similar message for those who see bullying going on around them. "There are so many bullies. It goes on so much," he told DeGeneres. "I think that you should ... especially if you are a bystander, you definitely should help out because it could be you next."
In the laser-tag incident last month, a 12-year-old boy allegedly used an anti-gay slur against Bieber after overzealously targeting the "Baby" singer during a heated match.
Bieber joins a long list of stars and politicians who have joined the "It Gets Better" anti-bullying campaign, including President Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Ke$ha, Nicki Minaj, Adam Lambert, Aubrey O'Day, Linkin Park's Chester Bennington and Katy Perry, who dedicated her "Firework" clip to the campaign.

Kim Kardashian Burns Those Calories
Getting back to her normal west coast routine after returning from NYC, Kim Kardashian was spotted out at her local gym in Los Angeles, CA on Wednesday (November 24).
Launching a preemptive strike against the Thanksgiving calories, the E! reality star looked sporty chic in a light blue hoodie with black knee-length tights as she hit the exits following a grueling sweat session.
As for the holiday, KIm recently posted a message on her website telling what she's thankful for.
The 30-year-old wrote, "A lot has changed in my life since last Thanksgiving. This year has been one of the most amazing ever and I am so thankful for every single experience and opportunity I have had."

Malin Akerman Reportedly Replacing Lindsay Lohan In 'Inferno'

The onetime Lindsay Lohan vehicle "Inferno" has found a new face to heat up the screen.
Malin Akerman will replace the troubled actress in the Linda Lovelace biopic, according to Deadline.com.
Akerman is known for her roles in diverse fare such as the ensemble romantic comedy "Couples Retreat" and the superhero drama "Watchmen." The Swedish-born star will portray late porn actress Lovelace, who rose to prominence for the cult 1972 adult flick "Deep Throat" before later speaking out against the porn industry.
The replacement comes after Lohan's highly publicized issues with drugs and stints in jail threatened to derail the project. The actress spent 13 days in prison in July for violating probation stemming from a 2007 DUI conviction after the alcohol-monitoring device she had been sporting since May reportedly went off at party, and a judge found that Lohan was skipping alcohol-education classes. She was later hauled back to prison for a day-long bid after failing a court-mandated drug test. Lohan is currently in treatment after a judge ordered the actress to remain in rehab until January.
Despite Lohan's legal woes, director Matthew Wilder had publicly stood by the actress.
"We love her. We want her to do well," Wilder said in a statement to MTV News in September after Lohan returned to jail for the second time this year. "We will make the picture shortly."
However, he did admit to being frustrated about Lohan's ongoing issues.
"I understand people's exasperation. I share it," he said. "But there is a tremendous gift underneath all the obvious baggage."
By November, Wilder conceded that the project would be moving on without the starlet.
"We are withdrawing our offer from Lindsay Lohan," he told E! News on Friday. "We are currently in negotiations [with another actress] and working out the legalities of bringing her onboard."
The director explained that the inability to insure Lohan was a factor in the decision to continue the production without the embattled actress.
"We have stuck by Lindsay very patiently for a long time with a lot of love and support," Wilder said. "Ultimately, the impossibility of insuring her — and some other issues — have made it impossible for us to go forward."

Report Says Fantasia Drops A Doozy In Court: I Aborted My Lover Antwaun's Baby!
Didn't see this ish coming. Fantasia took the stand yesterday in the court case involving Paula Cook--the wife of her lover Antwaun Cook. Paula is suing her husband for cheating, and Fantasia was frced to take the stand to prove she indeed knew Antwaun was married when they initially got together.

Fantasia admitted yesterday, after denying for several months, that, upon initially meeting Antwaun, she indeed knew he was married and still living with his wife, Paula. CNN reports:
The singer testified that she knew from the first day of her relationship with Cook that he was married and still living with his wife, according to two sources who were in the courtroom. The sources asked not to be identified because of the sensitivity of the information.
Barrino publicly acknowledged the relationship last summer, but she insisted then that she did not know Cook was a married man.
Paula Cook alleged in a court filing that her husband and Barrino engaged in a year-long affair in which her husband enjoyed "the lavish benefits associated with the high-profile relationship."
That's a problem not only because of a moral issue, but because Paula has now proven Antwaun cheated--which means that thanks to North Carolina law, she can sue both her soon to be ex-husband 'Twaun and Fantasia. And, let's face it, we broke the story about Antwaun being married and details of how they met (back when everyone called us a liar) last year, and we know Fanny reads the internets.
But that's not all that went down. According to Radar Online, Fantasia revealed that she and Antwaun had gotten pregnant, and she aborted the baby:

We held off on reporting this part yesterday as we wanted to await the actual court transcripts to surface, but they are yet to be found. Goodness. I need a cigarette and I don't even smoke....

Hey Halle...Kim K. Is Keeping Your Ex Gabriel Company
While Halle Berry's tauting all over the U.S. with her new boyfriend Olivier Martinez, her ex and baby's father Gabriel Aubrey found some time to kick back courtside at the Lakers game last night.

Lady Gaga Cameo Rumored For 'Muppets' Movie
Plot of reboot is said to involve Miss Piggy ending up as Gaga-esque character.

She's already worn them and been escorted by them, so it makes sense that Lady Gaga now may be joining the Muppets, in a reboot of their long-running film series due in theaters next year.
This is according to Production Weekly, an industry publication that chronicles film and television projects in pre-production and development, which on Thursday tweeted that they were "hearing that [actors] Eric Stonestreet, John Krasinski and Ed Helms may be in Lady Gaga's entourage for 'The Muppets.' "
By logical extension, that would mean that Gaga herself could be filming a cameo for the movie. And it lends credence to earlier reports that "How I Met Your Mother" star Jason Segel — who is writing the script for the new "Muppets" movie — was basing the story line around the idea that "Miss Piggy ends up becoming like a Lady Gaga-esque character living in Europe."
A spokesperson for Lady Gaga did not respond to MTV News' request for comment on the matter, but if LG does show up in the new "Muppets" film, we expect a few scenes with Kermit the Frog, her date to the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. Their appearance on the red carpet — not to mention the smooch they shared — had gossipmongers whispering that the two were an item. But Kermit would later deny those rumors, telling People that he "just gave Lady Gaga a ride to the VMAs, and when [she] left her credentials in the limo, I had to bring them to her."
Of course, that angered Kermit's longtime beau Miss Piggy, which had some rather disastrous results. "After Lady Gaga and I were seen on the red carpet together, well ... Miss Piggy got a little jealous," Kermit said. "But I definitely did get a ride home — in the trunk!"
